Lharne began his career establishing and running Tobias Glass, a kiln forming glass business which for many years designed, manufactured and supplied glass tableware to well known retailers, including the Conran Shop, Heals and Harrods.
As well as galleries, stores, he supplied tableware to high end and Michelin starred restaurants, caterers and hotels internationally.
He also produced numerous bespoke awards for prestigious broadcasting, publishing and finance events, for clients including Incisive Media, Haymarket Publishing, National Press Gazette and EMAP.
Lharne works as an Academic and has been engaged as a course leader for the BA Hons Decorative Arts Course at Nottingham Trent University for over 10 years.
Teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level as well as undertaking PhD supervision and undertaking guest lectureships overseas.
He continues to spend time in his own studio developing concepts for contemporary artworks in glass for architectural and interior spaces.
